Ding 46; Got a Better Bow
Ding in 3d 10h 34m /played time in Feralas while hunting hippogryphs. It was a long, protracted battle while fighting for the right to kill things with a Chinese Gold Farmer (named something like Djsajf) who managed to hit level 48 and still had a pet named “Boar.” He was too stupid to realize when I had already tagged 3 mobs. He ended up helping me kill about 10 mobs before he realized what I was doing. I think he woke up and started monitoring his bots.
I got a Sylvan Shortbow from Cawind Trueaim in Camp Mojache, a limited sale item that is better than my crossbow. I got that fully skilled up and turned in 20% of level 46’s XP in quests. Then, according to Joana’s Horde Guide, I made my way to Ashzara. I finished up that stuff for about 9k XP and I’m headed to the Hinterlands for about a dozen quests to get me to level 47.

Hey, I just finished up those Hinterlands quests, and although they’re not exactly annoying, they really are tedious. So, have fun =P
Oh, and I know his guide says not to, but in my opinion when you go into AV for the manna biscuits, you should just stay, so you can get that blue x-bow.

Thanks for the encouragement. I finished up my 14th quest in my log this morning. I didn’t have time to put the pike for Grim Message down before I had to leave for work this morning. I should ding on my way to turn all of those in.
That should get me what… 1/2 of the way through the next level when they’re all turned in? Awesome. It may have taken me a bit longer for this level, but the 2 level average will be nice.
Which blue crossbow are you referring to? I forgot to check last night, and don’t have access for most of that at the office. I can see ampwow, the last time I checked. How long does it take to get that many points?
I’m shortly going to buy that bow myself.. Once I get to that level. My bow is so garbage.. lol..
Ever since I started using Joana’s guide I don’t even pay attention to my gear at all and I usually get comments about me being a chinese farmer or farmbot from other players!
I never knew about that bow though.. I’m gonna start picking it up because it’s usually an upgrade for me.

I never knew about it, either. I always check vendors to see if they have some better equipment than what I have, but it’s nearly always way worse than what I have from the AH. This bowyer surprised me, and it was less than 2g.
If the horde quest is the same as the alliance quest, all you have to do is win one AV to complete the quest.

all you have to do, is be present at the end of an AV where the horde wins. simple as that. =P

+20 STA can never have too much health, I say.
Then again, 120 dmg points per hit on the bow, plus my crits and special shots… I hate decisions like this.
lol. yea, it’s tough. but you could always find another wep. and if you have the money, enchant the spear from the lvl 52 hunter quest with agi.
Either way, I’m going for the x-bow, because I just bought a 2h axe of the monkey, and the stats will prob last me until hellfire.
