This is a quick one: why is it that you can’t jump from one level to another in a cave without your pet running the actual path all the way around, but you can jump off a 50 foot high Zep tower and he stays right with you? Hmmm?
Unlike your other World of Warcraft blogs. Quality over quantity, and a terrific community.
Good question… not sure if it was here I saw it, but I had it pointed out to me recently that “Eyes of the Beast” is a great way to get pets to navigate jumps properly when in an instance, without needing to dismiss and recall and feed them.
No, it wasn’t here, but I haven’t spent the dough for that talent. I suppose I could now that you’ve enlightened me.
It drove me crazy again this morning as I went from the mailbox in UC to the auctioneer and waited a good 30 seconds for Tiggr to come to my side again. Stupid pet rules. If you can jump off a blimp, you can skip the stairs. 🙂
I agree.. These pets are very weird with what they do jump off of and what they don’t.
I get nervous when I jump off of cliffs, or from one layer to the next, hoping my pet will come without grabbing the whole area’s aggro!
I think the pets should work like the Warlocks pet (unless they changed the warlocks also) But when I played on my warlock, no matter where I went, or how I got there.. they would be following beside me.
