Paladr’s quest log was full, and I have very little time nowadays (as evidenced by my last post date) to just play around, so it was time to get organized. I decided to attack the quest log systematically. One night, Phil and I were in the pirate cove in Tanaris to complete 4 quests. Another night, I was in Badlands killing everything 4-6 at a time or chain killing in a non-stop 2 on 1 effort until I dinged. Last night, it was the Elder Mistvale Gorillas in STV, including the waves of attacks to get Mokk’s brain. Solo. I’ve never seen that done, so I decided to see if it could be done. Oh, yeah, I also downed Shy-Rotam with Huntr along with the help of Lance’s Drowurden 70 warrior.
Since I’m still short on time, here is a snapshot of my playing. Feel free to ask questions. How ’bout that for efficiency? Don’t tell unless someone gives a darn.
I see 14 dead carcasses in the last picture that is crazy. looks like you will be tanking when we get there and I will be off-tanking as an arms-specced Warrior.
Sounds good to me. I believe they came in a wave of 3, 4, and 7. The last wave I was so out of mana, all I could do was keep Seal of Light up and attack the same thing as the troll to speed it up. My shield blocking kept them sufficiently pissed at me.
Not that I underestimate your deeds but what amazed me most are the light rays of the sun in the first picture. It is nice that such details are implemented in the game and that there are players taking such screenshots.
Meridan,
I agree. the new sun effects are one of the most beautiful and thought-out additions to the game in many, many months. It can lead to truly breathtaking accidental screenshots when the camera is spinning around in search of things.
I remember that last spot! Me and my friend got killed multiple times and was not able to hold off those big monkeys (and I was so pissed)!! One week earlier I helped one of my guiddes on that quest with my level 70, that is what I call fun 🙂
“Gitr is a full-time technical editor and database administrator by day and a part-time University of South Florida student, husband, and gamer by night.”, did your wife ever thought her hub is crazy?
I think I should reword that. It sounds like I’m a part-time husband… 🙂
Yes, she quite often things I’m crazy… then again she wouldn’t be wrong.
